I don't understand the BBC. By all accounts a great game, second from last. Basically two minutes worth of TV time.

Re: Match of the Day
It'll all be eulogizing about the Rooney free kick goal in the drab draw at stoke. It'll no doubt be talked about as a goal of the season contender if only because of its "significance", mark my words

Re: Match of the Day
So, top v bottom clash with relegation candidates winning away, 2nd v 5th, most popular club in country (5th) v middle of the table, 2 matches involving relegation candidates, then the two fairly meaningless middle of the table games at the end.

Outrage!

Re: Match of the Day
I can accept that Swansea turning over Liverpool has got to be the biggest story not involving their own club for most fans.

The other matches will really have to be something special to justifiably put us so low on the list

Excellent. Can watch after the pub.

Hate it when we're on first.

Re: Match of the Day
That and a whole lot of soul searching and a 30 minute post morgen on Liverpool losing. Glad I can't watch that shit here.

Re: Match of the Day
The WHU/Boro and BMouth/Watford games were the least meaningful of today's PL games. Hardly surprising they are the last two on the playback list.

Manchester of the Day as usual.

Re: Match of the Day
So it's all about what's meaningful these days then, and nothing to do with the spectacle of a good game of football.

Who can tell what's a good game of football in the time dedicated to any but the first game?
